Morals of The Clone Wars 2.20: Death Trap

Moral: “Who my father was matters less than my memory of him.”

Our families–those who raised us–shape us. We know this. We may find ourself saying, “I sound just like my father/mother.”

However, unless we’ve gone through some counseling, most of us don’t deal with some of the negative traits we’ve inherited. There are typically sins that get passed down through each family. And of course, there are many, many good traits we gain as well.

Who are father (or mother) was does matter. And our memories matter as well. But what matters most is how we deal with those memories and realities. And more importantly is letting our lives be shaped by our Heavenly Father. Only then can we be truly whole.
